Why do I call it The Quarter Life CHRIS-is?

When I first decided that I will celebrate my 25th Birthday with a Bang, my friends would joke around me that after 25 it's going downhill from there.

Rude.

Well, I just laughed back at them as my nice answer.

They also said that I be careful because Life will go faster than normal.

Really? Sure.

and once again, I simply laughed at them.

They made me feel that my youth is gone and the pressure to settle down is on.

Whatever.

I'm still laughing,

and laughing,

and laughing some more.

But while I was laughing, I also began asking myself...

Am I scared of the so called "Quarter Life Crisis?"

Am I?

HONESTLY, Yes I was.

Because I don't know what to expect, what to think and what to do after I turn 25.

Where is this life headed?

Will I be somewhere else in the future? have a family soon? or be successful?

They say the crisis is a big scare for anyone who steps onto this stage. It can definitely create some negative connotations and fears of what is in-store for you.

As I create this blog, I still remember how those people teased me and how they told me what to expect. Then I realized, why am I concentrating with THEM! with what "THEY" say about what could happen.

After all, this quarter life is not about what "THEY" will say. It is about ME!

And I guess it is up to me on how I will make this stage affect me in the future.

Big time.

So what did I do?

I gave it my own crazy twist.

The Quarter Life part is a fact. Last October 8, I did became 25.

But the crisis I cannot and will not accept at all.

The plan?

I wanna live the next part of my life with an upbeat outlook as I go uphill, and not downhill.

I wanna live every experience with gusto and passion.

I wanna live it by immersing myself to the goodness of what life has to offer.

I wanna live it by savoring my awesome youth and mix it with the maturity of the age I have lived in this world.

And I wanna live it every single day with a Smile, a Hope and a Goal to Live it to the Fullest.

Thats why from here, instead of a crisis...

Everyday will be a CHRIS-is.

Chris-is better.

Chris-is stronger.

Chris-is wiser.

Thats why I called it my QUARTER LIFE CHRIS-is!

and oh. I do believe in JESUS as my Savior.

which makes it more obvious that with Him, there is definitely no crisis.

some struggles but definitely no crisis.

It is about His promises to me of a good life and a better future.

That I will surely hold very near to my heart.

That true HIM, CHRIS-is ready for a great adventure!

My Bucket List: Christian's Adventures after turning 25!

So I decided to create my Bucket List to be completed after my 25th Birthday on October 8. I will one by one pursue these dreams with my family and friends, and maybe sometimes alone. This is a list of things that I would wanna do for the next years to come. I tried to group it together and I am very excited for this. I will update all of you of what has happened and what has not. We shall see where will this take me. So here is my list.

1) Write a script of a play.

2) Grow a plant.

3) Bake a Cake.

4) Put together my Life Scrapbook

5) Play the guitar

6) Write a book

7) Finish the whole Bible

8) Build a snowman

9) Watch at least one Broadway show or a musical a year

10) Learn a 3rd language

11) Be 80lbs lighter

12) Learn a professional dance routine

13) Compose a song

14) Finish my own art work (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)

16) Cook my own recipe.

17) Carve my own pumpkin.

18) To stay awake for 24 hours.

19) Take my mom on a cruise

20) Do a perfect cartwheel.

21) Have my personal website

22) Ride a Limo

23) Grow a goatee.

24) Get a masters degree.

25) Get a tattoo.

26) Fly first class

27) Travel for work

28) Donate a big amount of money.

29) Have my own place

30) Drive my own convertible

31) Stay in a penthouse or the highest level of suite in a hotel

32) Help one person finish school

33) Have my own apartment business.

34) Get married and live with her here in California

35) Touch the hand of my 1st born child for the 1st time.

36) Teach professionally.

37) Be part of the Amazing Race or Survivor or any Reality Game show.

38) To watch the Ellen Degeneres show live.

39) To watch a concert of one of my favorite groups or artists (Black Eyed Peas, etc.)

40) Photoshoot on a professional setting or studio.

41) Find all of my best friends from Kindergarten (Shaider from Piliminita and Alzada, Ian and Henry from San Sebastian)

42) Go to a celebrity event after party

43) Speak in front of thousands of people.

44) Be a speaker for a youth camp.

45) Be a part of a film (actor or crew)

46) Have my own show gallery of my Photography

47) Play in a game show

48) Watch one of my favorite shows live.

49) Watch a Laker Game.

50) Do a 5K or marathon or walkathon

51) Take a picture with the characters of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

52) Have something named after me.

53) Be a famous blogger.

54) See a president of the Philippines or United States up close.

55) Attend an awards night.

56) Touch an Oscar/Emmy trophy

57) To say the words, "You're hired" and "You're fired" professionally.

58) Go White Water Rafting

92) Snorkel in Hawaii
