How was Halloween 2010?

Nothing BIG happened. We had friends come over and we dressed up and just took some pics.

No trick or treatin.

No fancy parties.

No special occasion.

Just friends getting together.

Thanks PSB for hanging out at my Crib. Thanks to our personal DJ. DJRN! lol.

Oh and here is my Halloween 2010 look as a 70's Fitness Guru! (It is a little disturbing!)

Happy Halloween. Next year I think we might need to host our own Halloween Party. We shall see.

I am now going to put together our PSB Holiday party.

Why do I call it The Quarter Life CHRIS-is?

When I first decided that I will celebrate my 25th Birthday with a Bang, my friends would joke around me that after 25 it's going downhill from there.

Rude.

Well, I just laughed back at them as my nice answer.

They also said that I be careful because Life will go faster than normal.

Really? Sure.

and once again, I simply laughed at them.

They made me feel that my youth is gone and the pressure to settle down is on.

Whatever.

I'm still laughing,

and laughing,

and laughing some more.

But while I was laughing, I also began asking myself...

Am I scared of the so called "Quarter Life Crisis?"

Am I?

HONESTLY, Yes I was.

Because I don't know what to expect, what to think and what to do after I turn 25.

Where is this life headed?

Will I be somewhere else in the future? have a family soon? or be successful?

They say the crisis is a big scare for anyone who steps onto this stage. It can definitely create some negative connotations and fears of what is in-store for you.

As I create this blog, I still remember how those people teased me and how they told me what to expect. Then I realized, why am I concentrating with THEM! with what "THEY" say about what could happen.

After all, this quarter life is not about what "THEY" will say. It is about ME!

And I guess it is up to me on how I will make this stage affect me in the future.

Big time.

So what did I do?

I gave it my own crazy twist.

The Quarter Life part is a fact. Last October 8, I did became 25.

But the crisis I cannot and will not accept at all.

The plan?

I wanna live the next part of my life with an upbeat outlook as I go uphill, and not downhill.

I wanna live every experience with gusto and passion.

I wanna live it by immersing myself to the goodness of what life has to offer.

I wanna live it by savoring my awesome youth and mix it with the maturity of the age I have lived in this world.

And I wanna live it every single day with a Smile, a Hope and a Goal to Live it to the Fullest.

Thats why from here, instead of a crisis...

Everyday will be a CHRIS-is.

Chris-is better.

Chris-is stronger.

Chris-is wiser.

Thats why I called it my QUARTER LIFE CHRIS-is!

and oh. I do believe in JESUS as my Savior.

which makes it more obvious that with Him, there is definitely no crisis.

some struggles but definitely no crisis.

It is about His promises to me of a good life and a better future.

That I will surely hold very near to my heart.

That true HIM, CHRIS-is ready for a great adventure!

My Bucket List: Christian's Adventures after turning 25!

So I decided to create my Bucket List to be completed after my 25th Birthday on October 8. I will one by one pursue these dreams with my family and friends, and maybe sometimes alone. This is a list of things that I would wanna do for the next years to come. I tried to group it together and I am very excited for this. I will update all of you of what has happened and what has not. We shall see where will this take me. So here is my list.

1) Write a script of a play.

2) Grow a plant.

3) Bake a Cake.

4) Put together my Life Scrapbook

5) Play the guitar

6) Write a book

7) Finish the whole Bible

8) Build a snowman

9) Watch at least one Broadway show or a musical a year

10) Learn a 3rd language

11) Be 80lbs lighter

12) Learn a professional dance routine

14) Finish my own art work (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)

My Birthday Wishlist!

Simple.

Im not picky. just maybe an IPAD. a House and Lot and a Convertible. lol!!!

But Because of the recession, If you cant give that I would try to understand (lol).

Of course number 1. YOUR PRESENCE at the party would be great.

2. Also, If you wanna share for everyone on the party. Food or Drinks.

3. If you want to give me something personally... maybe Best Buy or Jamba Juice Gift Cards. lol. (But if you wanna give me an ipad, i will not refuse. lol) or of course anything you will give, will be great too.

4. Or if you wanna help the needy, you can also share your used but in good condition... Winter Scarf/s coz I am planning to donate them for Christmas Time to those who need them during the cold season.

5. But seriously. JUST BE THERE AT THE PARTY! This is the 1st time I am hosting one and I hope it would be successful.

What Should I wear to Christian's Children's party?

So friends. People have been asking of what they should wear for the Children's party. I was thinking that since this is about three weeks before the great costume-y Halloween, I went for a much more simple approach... A Party for Children 21+!!!!

So what do I wear?

Well if you are going to make me really happy. Check out this pictures.

You can do the pigtails and bows for girls. Maybe suspenders and baseball shirt and caps. sneakers.

or wear your favorite cartoon character shirt. High socks. Lacy dresses. Or favorite costume. Or mickey hats. Or anything that will make

you look like a kid.

Or maybe look like this two cute kids.

So yah be creative and be fun on my Children's party.

OH and there will be an award for Best in Children's Party attire.

Yes. It will be a Children's party.

So get ready to wear clothes that you would wear to a party

if you are a 5-9 year old kid.

Also, get ready for some children's games and some party decorations.

I am posting this on your site because YOU ARE INVITED.

You are a great friend and someone I consider important to me.

So please, please be there because that will make my 1st children's party the most memorable one.

I will be sending an RSVP note 2 weeks before October 9.

So we can have a head count to prepare.

One Month From Now

Christian Cruz is back... and YES, I am turning 25 this year.

On October 8, 2010, I will grow a year older and hopefully wiser.

I am going to step into the next quarter of my life.

Step into the next line of age group coz I am done with the 18-24 group.

I am stepping one level up.

So Am I ready? I think I am. A friend said that after this age, Life would be much much faster. I am excited and scared at the same time.
