After 2 years... the adventure continues!!!

So... This blog was created about two years ago.

I made this blog because I was turning 25 and I was a bit scared of growing up.

I have been a very independent, free spirited but very straight edged kid who always follow rules and secretly disobey them too.

I loved the process of growing up but I knew that after I turned 25 two years ago, my life would totally change. I will change, people around me will change, and my priorities will change too.

After that whole hoopla of my 25th year, it kind of went downhill from there. I told myself, I will get thinner, but nope, I gained a whole lot more. I told myself my career will boom but it slowed down a lot. I told myself I am going to travel more. Yes I did but not as much as I want it. :(

I just felt slower, weaker and more vulnerable for some reason.

Don't get me wrong though, I had some of these emo, what if moments but I also had a good number of victories. Things that has happened that I want to catch up. I will start blogging more and posting more again here. I would want to continue the theme of this blog that it is not a quarter life crisis but I entitled this as the Quarter Life CHRIS-IS. "Chris is" means giving meaning to who I am as I continue my life as an adult.

I will keep on posting somethings from the past and post whats up in the future. So we shall see... what more that could happen.

ABRIL 2011

My sister, Jonah decided to go to the Philippines this year. WITHOUT ME!!! RUDE!!!

So me and our other friends decided to be an active group this month and conquer the Canyons of Southern California... WHY? Because we kind of want to prepare for the big hike that we can do in YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK scheduled on May. Exciting because thats one more of my Bucket List to get crossed out.

But on that 1st weekend, PSB bonded like crazy. Coz we were together from April 8-April 10. We started by having a great buffet dinner for the first time at Fire and Ice at Garden Walk in Anaheim. So near but we have not experience it. Out of 5 stars I give it a 3. Good ambiance but complicated. Y0u have to be a good cook for you to be able to put the right food together.

Then the next day, I attended my good friend, Krista's going away party at Huntington Beer Co. She will be moving to Florida to be part of the Disney Cruise Line. Well since it is a bar area, then I decided to once again bring my PSB friends. It is once again our first time. And we are so lucky coz it was Happy Hour when we arrived.

And then we realized it is already after 12 midnight. We went home with someone drunk who asked us... "Kinahihiya nyo ba ako." Followed by 3 of us not answering. Lol. The Who?

One thing that we should have thought about is that we are planning to hike early the next day. But nope, we stayed late but still decided to go the next day.

1st Stop...

The plan was to be there 2 to 3 hours maximum. 3 miles maximum and we will be done after that. But because of my too adventurous friends. We ended up hiking for 6 hours, almost 10 miles and crossed 3 mountains. I cannot deny that I gave out a good number of curses during that time. I had the worst cramps in all different parts of my legs. Oh and by the way. We only had cup noodles before the hike and brought only M&Ms and Rice Krispies along the way. After that, we went to Korean BBQ and guess what... I cannot even eat the great beef and pork because I was on a 40 day no red meat abstinence. So I kind of suffered while everyone was having fun. Well here are the 1st photos of our 1st crazy hike.

And since this is April, of course we celebrated APRIL's Birthday. She invited us to a weekend in San Diego. We partied in a big suite and drank our night away. Lots of craziness. My fave moment that night was eating at Phil's BBQ for the 1st time. Really good and popular BBQ and also putting the mattress up to the door next to us because we are just so dang noisy. Happy birthday April. We are not gonna tell them that you celebrated your 28th birthday. Lol. Oooops.

The next day, we went to Coronado Beach which is a 1st time for most of us and also enjoyed the amenities of our hotel and San Diego as well. It was a tiring but really fun weekend. Thanks Kweng.

Oh and also, we meet this very Beautiful Girl... LOL!!!

After a weekend of fun... which is also called our recovery week, we went back to planning our 2nd pre hike. And I told them, this better be a better experience. So they chose the ... i forgot the name of the place. But it is by the Laguna Beach.

We kind of started in the wrong trail but continued on with another till we end up in a longer trail again because they dont want to go on our regular route. Sigh but anyway it was worth it. We saw this really nice view and clearing of the beach.

It has been a long month but its not done yet. At the end of this month, I woke up one early morning to attend the shoot for our new Soundsational Parade for Disneyland. This is the 1st time I am posting this because we couldnt before because it hasnt started yet. This has been 3 months ago already so here are some of those early morning memory. I was with Anthony and Kami. Great times.

And to top our week... we all got together for a Food Truck experience in Irvine. It was so good.

At the end of this month, my sister came back with 2 of my favorite things. My 2 packs of Jumbo Tender Juicy Hotdogs from my lola and my Starbucks Planner from melvin escalora.

MARSO 2011

After such a busy February, March was technically a Going back to work mode month. Less activities to look forward to but a lot of firsts.

First time to be at Staples Center in Los Angeles, because of Hillsong United for their AFTERMATH Tour. And my good friend, Heidi accompanied me. Thanks Heidi.

That was a blessed concert. Hope they will be back very soon.

Also, this was the month that I got connected with a new found friend, JAJA! At 1st I thought I wont get comfortable with her, but now I consider her as one of our closest PSB member.

I had a Universal Day as well with my work friends at Travel Company for the 1st time. Bonded with Jessica, Lyn and Mike.

Lastly, this month, we celebrated St. Paddy's Day for the 1st time. And even if I was working, the next day... I went out to Partay!!!

And as simple as that...those were the highlights of my March. Not knowing that my April will actually be a crazy one. A whole month of pure PSB!!!

But what is sad is that this month is when we said goodbye to our goodfriend. KRISTA. We got all together for her goodbye party. It was sad to let a PSB member go but she will always be with us and we know she will eventually be back. See you soon Kris.
